According to it’s nature, it is a burning cut.
This means the material in the cutting gap burns in it’s full thickness, and a high speed oxygen ray blows out the burnt gas. The principle of flame cutting is heating the oxygen-combustible gas mixture to ignition temperature, and we burn it and spurt it from the cutting gap.
The flame only heats the surface, deeper inside the material it will be heated by the metal’s combustion heat.
