We use the latest plasma cutting technology at Nifex Ltd.: the vortex gas plasma technology.

It’s advantage is minimizing the handicaps of plasma cutting such as the deviation of rectangular cutting. Our CNC system is very precise; it can do good quality cuttings by plasma machines with older system.

Plasma cutting technology is relegated because of the spread of laser cutting, but it is an economical option in some areas against other cutting methods.

The internal bore’s quality is not as good as the laser cutting’s quality, it’s contours are nice, but you can see minimal meltdown at the corners and sharp turnings. In case of cutting thinner plates it can’t compete with laser cutters, but it’s much more economical in cutting stainless and aluminum plates. Also, with these materials you can cut over the laser cutting range to 25-30mm, which is the only alternative of water cutting but it is much faster, thus economical.
